I have the simrad cable that plugs into the video port on the back of the unit. I have also bench tested with IOTA engineering regulated constant power supply. Can everything be integrated into the Simrad Evo3s? Does it lose any functionality? I like having all the engine data showing. Im not looking to retain the controls for the hydraulic pump, so the pump is basically universal with an nmea autopilot control/processor. Apr 6, 2019 · The only reusable parts of the current system on the new to me boat is a airmar thru hull 1kw xducer with furuno plug and a simrad ap14 heading control paired with a scp12 and a simrad hydraulic pump. I've head that exact same thing - Furuno is the best technology - but Furuno also sounds difficult to learn. with that being said, both companies can fill your requirements.
